Workers comp is the biggest pain in my ass. Seriously. I cannot think of anything that is causing a bigger pain than workers comp right now.
Here is the story: I was working at Late Night and due to us getting a new cook, I had to help him make hoggies and what not. As I was cutting open a piece of bread, I cut too far and hit my hand. I now have two stitches in my hand. My normal insurance would cover this without any problem but because I was at work, and every company is afraid of getting sued, I had to fill out an accident report and receive workers comp. Now the office is pissed at me because they have to fill out all this paper work and I have to go to an "approved" doctor to get my stitches (all two of them) removed. I HAVE MY OWN DAMN INSURANCE! I WANT TO GO TO MY OWN DOCTOR/HEALTH SERVICES TO GET THESE STITCHES REMOVED! I would not be worked up about this if my mangers would stop being such assholes towards me. I know I screwed up and I know you have to do paper work but I do more work than any other student employee. GET OFF MY BACK! If this doesn't stop soon I might be tempted to quit.
Not helping any is Comcast. I decided to get a digital cable box even though I get basic cable for free. The main reason for this is that it will only cost me $3.99 a month and since I will be paying for it, it will help me build credit. I was told that if I wasn't in my room, an RA would let them in. But no. I now have to reschedule my appointment. Damn them.
And a final note for gender benders. If you are a guy and decide to wear jeans that are made to be worn by teenage girls, have your hair cut in a pixie style, have long fingernails that you have painted, and have dyed your hair pink, you have no right to be offended if I call you a female by mistake. If you look like a girl I'm going to call you a girl. This also goes for girls who wear extremely baggy clothing and chop all their hair off. If you choose to be a gender bender, being called the wrong sex comes with the territory.

Rants
I need to update this thing more often. Since it has been such a long time since I've updated, I deserve to rant about 5 things. If you don't like it, oh well.
1) Micheal Jackson. GET OVER IT PEOPLE!!! I'm sick of hearing about him. I know his death was sudden and that he was (key word "was") a great performer but he died over a month ago. Unless you were close to him, mourning him for more than a week is ridiculous. You didn't know him, you only knew his music. Plus he hadn't put out a CD since the 90's so you should really have been mourning him back when he stopped writing music. Seriously. Get over it. NOW!
2) Jon and Kate Plus 8. I'm not going to lie, I loved that show. With the divorce, however, I think they are stupid to continue filming the show. Speaking of the divorce, they shouldn't have done it so quickly. What about marriage therapy or taking a weekend just the two of you without cameras? I know I can't really judge because I've never been in that situation but considering they are TV stars, and more importantly TV stars that are based upon them being parents, it seems like the logical option to try and work it out. But beyond that, I am also sick of hearing about them. It is there personal lives and yes, I understand they lost almost all of that by being on TV but they do deserve some privacy/tabloid lax.
3) The Metro. For the love of God learn how to run your damn trains!!! How many near misses have we had let along deaths this year? Also, another guy just died at Vienna. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Metro you need to get your asses in gear yesterday.
4) Islamic Saudi Academy and Fairfax county residents (well some of them). Really? You guys are being that closed minded? To clarify, ISA is a private prep school that is, obviously, religious based and is looking to expand its campus on Pope's Head Rd. It is a conservative school that teaches its students the fundamentals of Islam and teaches the strict adherence to tradition. People say its "un-American." Umm...riiight. They are not teaching the children to kill people who do wrong (it was taken out of their text books which by the way is still in the bible, at least the OT) nor are they taught to hate America. Granted, I don't beleive in the way they run aspects of their school (girls and boys don't take classes together after second grade) they believe that women and men should not learn in the same room. Most of their students are American and most of them go on to American universities. I would never go there but that is because I'm not Islamic. Also, to say you would support Pee-Wee Hermon if he ran against one of the 6 that voted for this expansion says to me that your more of an idiot then you let on. Now, I know you people have a right to say stuff like this but maybe it is because of the close minded way you view Islamics is the reason why the extremests hate us.
5) Hillary. Way to have a PMS moment, with a college student no less. Get over yourself.
